Both of our men's teams retained their county XC titles on Saturday (7th) which took place in  Woodbank Park and Witton Park.

Our senior lades team of Becki Robinson, Sarah Carroll and Ambi Swindells came away with an impressive silver medal and Carl Hardman front ran throughout and won the men's race by 2 seconds.

Over in Lancashire, we finished with 4 runners in the top 10 and a determined finish from John Lloyd meant that we won Gold by 2 points.

Our junior runs also continued their fine form and won a number of medals across the age categories with the highlight being Sam Hopkins winning the U13 boys race.

With three other top10 finishes in the other categories it was a good afternoon on the country for our Vets teams.

Saturday also saw a 1-2 finish at the SELCC XC race in Heaton Park. Joe Bailey pulled away over the final lap from Will Beauchamp (picture below). Sarah Carroll also ran a good race to finish in 14th in the Women's race.
